Heritage Property Corporation teams up with the City of Calgary 
Heritage Property Corporation has proudly partnered with the City of Calgary to provide Calgarians with the annual City of Calgary calendar.  The heritage themed 2010 edition features important landmarks and locations that have helped shape the city.

Calgary's Heritage calendars will be distributed in the Calgary Herald in early December, and will also be available in City of Calgary facilities and on newsstands.  For more information or to download a copy of the calendar, please visit the City of Calgary website.

 

Heritage Property Corporation Annual Art Competition Gala
On October 20, finalists in the 2009 Heritage Property Corporation Art Competition gathered at Central United Church for the announcement of this year's winner.  

First prize was awarded to Carl White for his oil on canvas submission entitled "Fiori".  Mr. White receives a $10,000 commission to create a piece to be permanently displayed in the lightwell of the historic Lougheed Building.   Second prize went to Lisa Brawn for her painted woodcut, "North-West Mounted Police ca. 1882-1890".  Kevin Yee took home third prize for his lightbox installation "Man + Guitar".

The event also featured music from the Woodhouse Big Band, and the unveiling of last year's grand prize commission "Inherit" by Amy Dryer.  Taking one full year to complete, this oil on canvas painting stands an astounding 18 feet high.

Hardest Working Flame Contest Returns to the Saddledome for a Second Season
Once again, Heritage Property Corporation has teamed up with the Calgary Flames to give fans an opportunity to be a part of the action.  This interactive promotion is presented at all Calgary Flames regular season home games and on all Flames Pay Per View broadcast games. Fans are encouraged to phone a toll free number and vote for who they feel is the hardest working Flames player that game. By voting, fans have a chance to win a Flames jersey.  The Heritage Property Corporation Hardest Working Flame is announced at the end of every game.

 

Neil Richardson Receives Calgary Award
On June 11, 2009 Neil Richardson, president of Heritage Property Corporation, received the prestigious Calgary Award for his sustained and extra ordinary contribution to the promotion of awareness and preservation of Calgary's heritage. 

 

2009 Kids 'Fore' Golf Tournament 
A very successful second annual Kids 'Fore' Golf Tournament was held on May 23rd at the Crystal Ridge Golf Course in Okotoks.  View pictures from the tournament and learn more about this rewarding event.
